Q.When will I receive my custom wedding figure?
A. I now make my toppers in Wedding date order.  This way i find is fairer on people waiting, but i have also experienced a lot of brides changing their minds on details, so i make the topper nearer the Wedding date to make sure it is perfect!    If your order is urgent, and i dont hvae time in my diary, there is the "fast track" option at extra charge.  If you choose this option your topper will be sent out within a few days, but it wont hold up anyone elses order, as it is made on the only non-working day if necessary.

Q. How can i pay for my topper?

A.  I accept all types of payment.  You can via paypal (using your bank account, credit or debit card) which is perfectly safe, and your payment is guaranteed.  I can also accept cheques, postal order, cash on delivery of recorded delivery. 

Q. How will you deliver my order?
A. This product will be posted first class or special delivery to the UK, whichever you choose,  which takes one day. Out of UK is by airmail and takes about 4-6 days. I will email you to let you know when it is posted. For further details, see the postage section of this website.

Q. What details do you need to make the toppers to our design?
A. I will email you with a list of details i will need to make your topper.  Photo's of the bride, groom, pets etc are best for me to work from, but not essential. I can then make the toppers more accurate from the photo's.

Q.How do I exchange, cancel, refund or return my order?
A. As these are all custom made items, you cannot exchange, refund or return any order if you change your mind. However, if there is any problem with the item, quality or details, i will of course repair or remake it for free.
 

Q.What is the topper made out of?
A. This product is made out of polymer clay, which is none-toxic and safe to put directly onto your cake. This is a claylike material which hardens in the oven.

Q. How long does the topper last?
A. With careful handling this will last for years, unlike toppers made out of sugar. I would advise to keep out of direct sunlight as this may fade the colours.

Q. Can you add other people on the topper?
A. yes! I can do bridesmaids, pageboys, pets even! This is an additional cost to the bride & groom..

Q. What limits do you have for a cake topper?
A. None!! Just get in touch with me to discuss your requirements and we will go from there.  If you need help with ideas, and just cant choose, simply get in touch and i will do all i can to suggest ideas for your topper.

Q. Do you add accessories to the topper as we would love to be doing the crossword together, its personal to us!
A. Yes, just let me know what you want me to add, anything you think of that is important and unique for you. Please note that if extra props/items are required, there may be a small charge but I will let you know at the time of confirming your design.
 

Q. How do we fix them onto the cake?
A. If you choose them freestanding or sitting, simply use a little icing.  If you have them mounted on a base, they will stand very well on their own. and will sit evenly on the cake without requiring any fixing.

Q. How is the best way to contact you?
A. Email is the easiest and fastest. If you phone, i may be in the middle of a delicate operation making another topper and cannot answer the phone so then I would have to ring you back. I answer emails regularly through the day and have your details to hand so that i can answer any question efficiently.

Q. How much notice do you need to make a wedding cake topper?
A. You can order as soon as you like. That way you are guaranteed your order, and can add your details whenever you like, you don’t have to have them when ordering. I would advise to give as much notice as possible, then it is one less thing for you to worry about.

Q. How big are the toppers?
A. Standing Bride & Groom measure approx 14cm tall, sitting, are about 12cm tall (measured whilst sitting)

Q. What if we change the details of our outfits after we order?
A. Dont worry, let me know as soon as you know, and if i havent made it, i can easily alter your details, no problem!

Q. How long do the figures take to make?

A.  I start and finish the toppers the same day.  Once they are dry and hard enough, either the same day or the next, they  are ready to post out to you.  You dont need to keep in contact to see if i have started it for example, as the process is simple, and you will notified straight away.

Q. How many orders do you have at any one time?

A.  I can have hundreds of customers in my diary at any one time, as i take orders for the following year.  Please bear this in mind when emailing, as if everyone keeps in contant contact,  just for a follow up,  i would never have time to make the figures, and may fall behind. However i always check my emails for urgent ones, and reply as soon as i possibly can.
